Who We Are

Okay Pwop Sant Resiklaj, Inc. was founded on August 21, 2021, by Jude Sendra Carpel, a native of Les. Cayes, Haiti, and a concerned citizen of the world. This organization was created in response to an environmental crisis and urgency exacerbated by the August 14, 2021, Earthquake that devastated Les Cayes and most of Haiti's southern region, causing $ 1.7 billion in damage.

OPSR has decided to join the global effort to tackle the global climate crisis and help collect recyclable resources to reduce landfill volume. This will help combat soil degradation and reduce methane gas production polluting the air, reduce solid waste polluting our oceans, destroying marine life, and improve food quality for healthier living.

OPSR will collect the four common household recyclable wasted resources: plastic bottles, glass bottles, aluminum cans, and paper throughout Les Cayes, Haiti. OPSR’s ultimate goal is to encourage awareness so that every citizen will join Forces with us and the world to be proactive in improving our lives on the planet. The environment, in general, and the people of Les Cayes are eager for caring, helping hands. Together, now is a good time, and this a feasible opportunity to make a difference for good and help the world in need. We should do it because we can!

Join us in establishing sustainable and healthy green environmental habits in Les Cayes, Haiti. This will improve local and global spirits and correct ecological systems damaged by abuse while increasing economic development for the region.
